Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and schedule steel construction activities according to project plans and timelines.
Supervise a team of steelworkers, assigning tasks and ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan and execute steel erection and installation.
Monitor work progress and productivity, addressing any issues or delays to maintain project timelines.
Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure workmanship meets project requirements.
Maintain inventory of materials and equipment, requisitioning supplies as needed.
Train and mentor new employees, ensuring they are proficient in safety procedures and job tasks.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and optimize project efficiency.
Enforce compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Steel Foreman or similar role in steel construction or related field.
Strong knowledge of steel erection techniques, equipment, and safety protocols.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively supervise and motivate a team.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
Certification in relevant fields such as welding, rigging, or crane operation may be preferred.
