Overview: We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems across various commercial, industrial, and residential projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning, heating, ventilation, and refrigeration units, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency.
- Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and changing filters and belts.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC systems and perform necessary repairs to restore full functionality.
- Perform system tests to ensure equipment is functioning according to specifications.
- Collaborate with the MEP team to integrate HVAC systems with plumbing and electrical systems for optimal performance and compliance.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and equipment manuals to install and configure HVAC systems.
- Ensure that HVAC systems are compliant with local building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
- Assist with the commissioning of new HVAC systems and ensure all tests are completed successfully.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians and other team members.
- Keep accurate records of service reports, maintenance logs, and inventory usage.
- Respond to emergency HVAC repair requests in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Manage the installation and calibration of temperature control systems, thermostats, and sensors.
- Advise clients on system performance, energy-saving options, and maintenance schedules.
