Job Summary:
The Project Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of interior fit-out and decoration projects. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual with 5 years of experience in commercial fit-outs. Value revenue and profit oriented The ideal candidate will coordinate project activities, manage budgets, ensure timely completion, and maintain high standards of quality and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop and manage project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with clients, designers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met.
- Oversee the day-to-day activities of the project, including scheduling, quality control, and problem-solving.
- Budget and Cost Management:
- Prepare and manage project budgets, including cost estimates and financial reports.
- Monitor expenses and ensure projects are completed within budgetary constraints.
- Negotiate with vendors and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing and manage contracts.
- Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all work meets company standards, client expectations, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct site inspections and oversee the implementation of design plans and specifications.
- Client Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing concerns.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Team Management:
- Lead and supervise project teams, including internal staff and external contractors.
- Provide guidance, support, and performance feedback to team members.
- Risk Management:
- Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Mep or Architecture, Interior Design Diploma
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management with a focus on interior fit-out, decoration, and commercial projects.
- Proven track record of managing successful fit-out and decoration projects from inception to completion.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of interior design principles, fit-out processes, and commercial renovation.
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and handle tight deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Certifications (Preferred):
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar project management certification.
- LEED or other relevant sustainability certifications (if applicable).
Working Conditions:
- This position may require occasional travel to project sites.
- Flexible working hours may be required to meet project deadlines.
