Key Responsibilities
* Employee Relations Counseling:
* Provide individual counseling and support to employees on a range of issues, including work-related stress, conflict resolution, and performance concerns.
* Conduct exit interviews to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
* Investigations:
* Conduct thorough investigations into complaints of harassment, discrimination, or other misconduct.
* Gather evidence, interview witnesses, and recommend appropriate disciplinary actions or corrective measures.
* Policy Development and Enforcement:
* Assist in the development and implementation of employee relations policies and procedures.
* Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws.
* Educate employees and managers about company policies and procedures.
* Employee Engagement:
* Coordinate employee engagement initiatives, such as employee surveys, recognition programs, and team-building activities.
* Analyze employee feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement.
* Dispute Resolution:
* Facilitate mediation or arbitration processes to resolve disputes between employees or between employees and the company.
* Training and Development:
* Conduct training programs on topics such as harassment prevention, diversity and inclusion, and conflict resolution.
* Provide coaching and mentorship to employees and managers.
* Performance Management:
* Assist in the performance management process, including performance reviews, goal setting, and disciplinary actions.
Qualifications and Skills
* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
* 2-4 years of experience in employee relations or a related field.
* Strong understanding of labor laws and regulations.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
* Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
