Position Description
The Digital Analytics team supports the Victoria’s Secret & Co digital platform, which focuses on
driving innovation and building the digital experience for millions of customers. The digital analytics
team is responsible for investigating and understanding the motivations and shopping behaviours of
these customers who engage with our digital products across mobile, desktop, tablet, and apps. This
team is closely integrated with our Product Owners (PO), User Experience (UX), Business, and
Technology groups, to inform and influence product roadmaps and the features within our digital
products.
As an Optimization Analyst with expertise in Adobe tools, you will be responsible for analytics
associated with Victoria’s Secret web, mobile, and in-product Testing programs. The successful
candidate will be responsible for supporting an ongoing Product optimization program and driving
insights from behavioural analysis. You will be calculating test results of A/B Split and Multivariate
tests, supporting ideation processes and coming up with hypotheses, and reviewing test charters.
(ie. Critiquing test hypothesis and ensuring methodological rigor and proper configuration). The
candidate must also dive deep into customer journeys to extract insights into how the website, APP,
and content perform. The ideal candidate is a strategic, analytical thinker, results and detailoriented, and possesses the know-how to help optimize business performance. You must be a selfstarter, have demonstrated the ability to influence decision-makers with data, be comfortable with
change, and desire to learn new tools and analytics techniques. You will work closely with crossfunctional teams to enhance user experiences, increase conversions, and drive business growth
through data-driven insights.
Responsibilities
As a Digital Analytics Product Analyst, your role will be to leverage data and analytics to drive
product enhancements and improvements. You will work closely with product managers, designers,
and development teams to analyze user behaviour and identify opportunities for optimizing digital
products, including websites, mobile apps, and other digital platforms. Your expertise in data
analysis and understanding of user insights will be critical in shaping product strategies and
delivering a seamless user experience.
- Data Collection and Analysis:
- Implement and maintain digital analytics tools to collect data from various digital
products.
- Collaborate with the front-end web development team to ensure the tracking is in place
for the new enhancement.
- Analyse user interactions, behaviour flows, and engagement metrics to gain actionable
insights into product performance.
- Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and user
satisfaction.
- User Experience Optimization:
- Collaborate with product owners to improve the user experience based on data-driven
insights.
- Use analytics data to identify pain points and areas for enhancement within the digital
products.
- Propose and prioritize product improvements to increase user satisfaction and
conversion rates.
- Data Analysis and Interpretation:
- Analyze digital data to identify trends, patterns, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
related to user behaviour, conversion rates, marketing campaigns etc.
- Generate insightful reports and dashboards to present data-driven insights to
stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Monitor and measure the performance of product enhancement efforts, website traffic,
and user interactions to assess the effectiveness of product strategies.
- Prepare regular performance reports, highlighting key findings and recommendations
for improvement.
- A/B Testing and Experimentation:
- Plan, execute, and analyse A/B tests and other experimentation strategies to optimize
product features and user experiences.
- Draw conclusions from test results and provide data-backed recommendations for
product iterations.
- Data Reporting and Visualization:
- Create clear and insightful reports and dashboards to communicate product
performance and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Present findings and data-driven insights to cross-functional teams and management.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in digital analytics and product
management.
- Suggest process improvements to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of data
analysis and product optimization efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Product Management, Computer
Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in digital analytics, product analysis, or a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in digital analytics tools implementation and reporting such as Adobe
Analytics, Google Analytics, Amplitude, or similar platforms.
- Hands on experience on Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) Implementation.
- Good exposure on Mobile App analytics implementation.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to create impactful
reports and dashboards.
- Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and experiment design.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to draw meaningful insights from complex datasets.
- Understanding of user experience principles and their application in product
development.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional
teams and present findings to stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a passion for data accuracy and reliability.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a
team.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python or R is a plus.
- Experience with SQL and data querying is beneficial.
