The Vice President of Digital, Analytics & Performance leads the Clinical Operations digital strategy, optimizing ways of working through advanced technologies. This role ensures effective planning, analytics, and performance for program and study delivery across all operating models. The leader will set a vision for digital strategy, business analytics, and continuous improvement, leveraging internal and external resources to drive upper quartile performance and portfolio delivery.
Responsibilities include:
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:
- Lead a multidisciplinary, global department accountable for digital strategy and implementation in clinical operations, business and performance analytics; benchmarking; clinical operational planning and feasibility; recruitment modelling and end-to-end process improvement.
- Define and implement a vision and strategy for the department and build future, industry-leading capabilities related to digital, analytics, and performance.
- Set and continuously refine the Clinical Operations Data and Tech Strategy to meet changing demands both internally and externally.
- Support all functional lines across Clinical Operations including the central, regional, LOCs and off-shore/near-shore hubs with performance management analytics and tooling.
- Drive greater transparency of costs, resources, performance, and quality of various delivery models (FSO, FSP, In-house, off-shore/near-shore hubs, etc.) to optimize delivery of the portfolio.
- Set the analytics strategy for clinical operations to fully leverage real-time operational data to drive robust feasibility, recruitment planning, start-up, resource management, study budgeting, process improvements, and upper quartile performance.
- Represent GSK on relevant external industry and cross-industry forums related to Clinical Operations, Digital, Analytics and Performance.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Sciences or Business.
- Experience in Clinical Operations and processes related to business and performance analytics, benchmarking, resourcing, process improvement, digital, third party oversight, and feasibility, recruitment planning and study start-up processes to set vision for the overall department.
- Experience leading global multidisciplinary, line and matrix teams.
- Experience in establishing and executing strategic vision for a global function, ensuring successful delivery and outcomes across the organisation.
- Business acumen and analytical skills with experience connecting and visualizing data to support a strategy.
- Experience in Clinical environment or experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry with emphasis on data management or implementation and process oversight of GxP systems.
- Mastering of GCPs, principles of validation and other applicable regulations (e.g. 21 CFR Part 11).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters degree or PhD
- Ability to understand and simplify complex situations.
- Project Management skills/experience.
- Effective communication, negotiation, and presentation skills at various levels of the organization.
