Job Purpose:
This position will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth through effective communication, relationship building, and strategic sales initiatives. The Sales Officer will play a key role in identifying potential clients, understanding their needs, and offering tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
Key Accountabilities / Deliverables:
- Actively prospect and acquire new clients through various channels such as cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Conduct market research to identify potential business opportunities and trends.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets to contribute to the overall success of the organization.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their business needs and providing customized solutions.
- Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
- Stay updated on product features, benefits, and industry trends to effectively communicate with clients.
- Provide product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts, detailing progress towards targets and identifying areas for improvement.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the industry.
- Lead negotiations with clients, addressing their concerns and objections to close deals successfully.
- Prepare and present proposals, contracts, and agreements.
- Ensure optimal inventory levels across the distribution network.
- Coordinate with production and logistics teams to streamline inventory flow.
- Implement effective strategies for timely and efficient recovery of sales cash.
- Work closely with the finance team to resolve payment issues and minimize overdue accounts.
- Monitor and manage accounts receivable to ensure a healthy cash flow.
Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Engineering or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in industrial sales.
- Experience in the medical field, either through education or professional experience, is highly desirable.
- Willingness to travel as required.
