About the role
The sourcing team is the heart of Talent Sherpa. No two weeks are the same. One week, you could be looking for a CTO for a startup in Dubai, the next you could be working directly with a startup in the US on a mass hiring project. But what will stay the same? Your hunger and passion to source, attract and manage top talent, from all over the world.
You will:
- Source and attract top talent from all over the world through innovative and effective sourcing strategies (LinkedIn recruiter is just the start - we love to use other methods for sourcing too - and no, not job boards!)
- Mainly source candidates within technology, product and design at all levels, but may be exposed to other roles too (e.g. finance, marketing, sales)
- Be responsible for building a strong talent pool within software engineering and product design, with this being our most in demand roles
- Manage the candidate through the entire recruitment process, providing exemplary candidate experience
We're looking for people with:
- An exceptional eye for talent, and innovative ways of finding them
- Proven success sourcing/delivery/talent acquisition, with 2+ years experience working in an agency or internal setting (better suited for 180-recruiters)
- A background in tech, product or design recruitment, but equally comfortable to work in other sectors
- A go above and beyond attitude, whether it’s for our candidates or our clients
What would we love (bonus)?
- Someone who has hired for startups before, either internally or in an agency setting
- Someone who has exposure to the Middle East market
The finer details
This position is a full time position. It will start as a remote position, and transition into a hybrid setting in Kathmandu. Ideally you can have at least 5 hours crossover with GST time during the working days (Monday-Friday, 9-5 OR 10-6 UAE time).
