ABOUT THE ROLE
Department: Finance
You will play a pivotal role in managing financial operations, invoicing of rental and utilities invoices. Recognizing revenue inline with accounting standards. You'll be responsible for overseeing financial transactions, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring timely and efficient processes. Your role will require a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to streamline financial operations while adhering to company policies and regulations. Further, the role will be responsible to prepare annual budgets and forecast of assigned portfolio of assets.

The finance team plays a pivotal role in ensuring the company's financial health, strategic decision-making, and sustainable growth within the retail and real estate sectors. The finance team comprises skilled professionals who work collaboratively to uphold financial integrity, drive innovation, and support the company's growth agenda within the competitive retail and real estate landscape. Their expertise and dedication play a crucial role in achieving the company's financial objectives and sustaining its position as a leader in the industry.
PERFORMANCE DRIVEN CULTURE: WHAT WILL YOU BE MEASURED AGAINST
Monthly Closing of books: Leading the month end closing process and reviewing schedules, Supervise and approve monthly journal entries and general ledger reconciliations, Invoicing and billing management and ensure tenants are submitting contractual information in timely manner.
Compliance and Controls: Review Leasing documents and related payment for accuracy and compliance before forwarding and after receiving to/from tenant for signature & payment. Ensure adherence to financial regulations, internal controls, and accounting standards, continuously evaluating and improving processes for efficiency and accuracy.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of Revenue budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
Supervision and Leadership: Manage and guide a team of finance professionals, providing mentorship, training, and support to ensure productivity and achievement of departmental goals.
Financial Analysis: Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, identify trends, variances, and opportunities, and present actionable recommendations to management
Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, external auditors, and other relevant parties to address financial inquiries, provide insights, and support decision-making processes.

- Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial analysis techniques.
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced MS Excel skills; experience with ERP systems is desirable.

- Effective leadership abilities, with experience in managing and developing a team.
