Our client, based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, is seeking an Accountant for a 3-month contract role, with potential for a 3-month extension. This position is within the Finance Department, reporting directly to the Head of Finance.
We are looking for an experienced Accountant with ACCA or CA accreditation to oversee end-to-end Accounts Payable initially, with the role expected to expand to broader accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end Accounts Payable process
- Daily processing of POs and payments
- Match POs to invoices and handle reconciliations
- Capture bank payments
- Coordinate with finance teams globally, including New York
Qualifications & Experience:
- ACCA or CA accreditation (essential)
- Excellent English communication skills
- 2-5 years of relevant experience
- Background with a Big 4 Consulting Firm (preferred but not required)
