Sr Finance Specialists (Emiratization Program-- UAE Nationals Encouraged to Apply)

We have partnered with a client in Abu Dhabi that operates globally in the Defense Component Manufacturing Sector. Looking for finance professionals coming all industries in the UAE.
Looking for dynamic finance professionals to join our growing team. If you’re a self-motivated individual with a strong background in project finance, FP&A, or controllership and financial analysis.
1. Sr. Specialist Controllership & FP&A / Assistant Controller
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the Balance Sheet, Audit, and Closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financials.
- Supervise EBS and expense allocations across cost centers, projects, and accounts.
- Ensure compliance with EDGE Accounting Policies and IFRS standards.
- Partner with the PMO team to manage CAPEX and OPEX, driving accurate forecasting.
- Lead FP&A reporting and submissions, ensuring alignment with decision makers (CFO)
- Streamline and automate finance processes, applying critical thinking to simplify financial operations.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 7+ years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounting.
- Expertise in US GAAP/IFRS policies, project accounting, and financial reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (Powerpoint skills are a plus).
- Fluency in English with strong communication and leadership skills.
- Experience with SAP, Oracle, HFM/Hyperion is highly desirable.
2. Commercial & Project Finance Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the Finance Business Partner for Operations and Project Management, ensuring financial processes are aligned with project execution.
- Lead quarterly project reviews, tracking actuals vs budget and providing visibility on project performance.
- Manage project revenue recognition, billing, and collections, ensuring compliance with IFRS and US GAAP.
- Drive process improvement by streamlining transactional finance work and minimizing manual consolidation.
- Enforce financial policies and support both internal and external audits.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in project finance, controllership, or related roles.
- Strong knowledge of project accounting (POC, ECA, Deferred Charges, Contract Assets).
- Proficiency with financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, or HFM/Hyperion.
- Advanced Excel skills and ability to analyze complex financial data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
