Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Stoke NHS Talking Therapy Service, a Primary Care Psychological Therapy Service in Stoke-on-Trent offering innovative and effective treatments for a broad range of mental health problems in primary care, focusing on anxiety disorders and depression.
£26,530 - £29,114 per annum, full time 37.5 hours per week.
Main duties of the job
We are looking to recruit a number of trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners (PWP). You should have significant paid experience working in a mental health setting and If successful you will be nominated and supported to apply for the post graduate certificate PWP course at Newham University, Birmingham in the 2025/26 cohort commencing in February 2025.
If successful, you will be funded to work as trainee PWP within the Stoke NHS Talking Therapies Service employed by Changes Health and Wellbeing Service. You must be in a position to submit an application to the university in good time to participate in their selection process.
