Role Description
The Assistant Manager Finance position is a fulltime at Muscat Finance HO in Muscat. The Assistant Manager Finance will be responsible of the following:
Responsibilities
- Assist HO finance with annual budgeting
- Preparing monthly, quarterly regulatory returns
- Running ECL model on monthly basis
- Maintenance of financial records, FAR capitalization, prepayments, accruals, expense verification, deal payments
- MIS reporting on monthly basis
- Closing of trial balance on monthly basis
- Dealing with external auditors
- Filing of taxation to the regulators
- Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual pack
- Preparation of quarterly and yearly IFRS financial statements
- Monthly reconciliations
- Preparation of other MIS reports
- Providing information and completing assigned responsibilities as and when required basis
Qualifications
- Financial analysis, reporting, and budgeting skills
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance
- Experience in financial data analysis and interpretation
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Relevant professional certification CA, ACCA, CPA
- Preferably FLC, banking, insurance, or BIG 4 experience
- 5 years of experience
