Logistics Manager - Manufacturing (Multinational)
Our Client is a leading multinational manufacturer with a diverse product portfolio. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistics Manager to join our team and play a crucial role in optimizing our supply chain operations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all aspects of logistics for our manufacturing facilities, including:
- Inventory control and forecasting
- Warehouse management (including receiving, storage, and shipping)
- Domestic and international transportation planning and execution
- Third-party logistics provider (3PL) management
- Customs brokerage and compliance
- Develop and implement cost-effective and efficient logistics strategies to ensure on-time delivery of finished products to customers.
- Conduct regular analysis of logistics data to identify opportunities for improvement and cost reduction.
- Manage logistics budgets and ensure adherence to financial targets.
- Oversee safety and security protocols within the warehouse and transportation operations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders (production, sales, finance) and external partners (carriers, suppliers).
- Stay updated on industry trends and implement new technologies to enhance logistics efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant local and international trade regulations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial role within logistics for a large-scale manufacturing industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex logistics operations.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and best practices.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with relevant industry software is preferred.
- Fluency in English and knowledge of the local language is a plus.
