Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust has procured an integrated Electronic Patient Record (EPR) solution. The EPR will enable the biggest and most important transformational change in the Trusts health services across Devon in years. This is not the implementation of an IT system and training people to use it. It is a wholesale clinical and operational-led change to ways of working that will have an impact on every single one of our workforce and patients.
The Change, Readiness and Benefits Programme Manager will lead on the change management activities for the design, implementation and adoption of the One Devon EPR across Trust sites. In addition, the Change, Readiness and Benefits Programme Manager will lead on the identification and realisation of planned benefits during the course of the One Devon EPR Programme.
- Work as part of the One Devon Programme Senior Leadership Team to develop the One Devon EPR Change and Benefits Management Strategies
- Work with Trust Change, Readiness & Benefit teams to establish programmes of work to underpin the delivery of the new ways of working, aligned to Business Case and emergent benefits and subsequently monitor performance against achievement of them.
- Be responsible for ensuring Change Management and Benefits Management processes and techniques are appropriately utilised in order to support organisational changes and realise benefits for the One Devon EPR Programme.
- Use experience and knowledge of Project Management methodologies to guide Change teams as they plan and execute change projects, and oversee their effective delivery
- Conduct organisational assessments and make recommendations for change and design new structures in jobs as required
- Use expert change management and HR knowledge to work alongside the Trust Workforce teams to ensure workforce plans take in to account current and future workforce changes resulting from the implementation of the One Devon EPR Programme.
- To work with the Change & Benefits teams and Operational Leaders to guide the organisational change processes, providing advice on embedding and embracing change to enable and promote a smooth transition through go-live and into Business as Usual.
