Job Purpose:
We are seeking a Compliance Specialist to monitor and assess non-compliance risks and breaches, develop effective action plans, and promote a positive compliance culture. The role ensures adherence to regulatory standards and internal governance policies.
Key Responsibilities
1. Compliance Requirements Identification
- Contribute to the assessment and improvement of company's compliance strategy using historical practices and international best practices.
- Identify actions needed to ensure compliance and provide guidance on compliance obligations.
- Define tailored compliance standards for company's operations to align with external legislative requirements, such as financial regulations and labor laws.
2. Compliance and Corporate Governance Monitoring
- Monitor and report on company's practices (e.g., financial, human capital, collection), identifying compliance risks and vulnerabilities.
- Prepare inspection reports, analyze compliance violations, and discuss findings with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to address non-compliance issues and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct periodic assessments to ensure compliance with financial, legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations.
3. Non-Compliance Action Plans Development
- Assist in developing corrective action plans to address non-compliance issues in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Follow up on the implementation of preventive measures to avoid recurrence of issues.
- Report on progress and recommend additional corrective actions when necessary.
4. Compliance Culture Enablement
- Support training initiatives and lectures to promote a compliance-driven culture.
- Foster relationships with local and international compliance committees to enhance practices.
- Propose initiatives to improve operations and compliance issue resolution.
Qualifications and Requirements
Knowledge & Experience
- 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in compliance, legal, or corporate governance roles.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
