The Senior Business Analyst will work closely with the Section Head to facilitate collaboration with stakeholders in developing and implementing the bank's strategic planning and reporting framework. This role includes supporting the preparation of divisional and branch plans aligned with the corporate strategy, providing strategic insights, and contributing to the formulation of actionable plans. The incumbent will also play a critical role in post-implementation assessments to ensure the sustainability of strategic initiatives and support Business Analysts in managing day-to-day operations effectively, adhering to internal guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Section Head in developing the bank's strategic planning framework and annual business plans aligned with executive directives.
- Facilitate implementation of strategic initiatives, ensuring progress tracking and alignment with objectives.
- Develop and execute communication plans for effective information dissemination across the organization.
- Assist in establishing performance metrics and operational indicators to evaluate strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with industry experts to identify global banking opportunities and risks.
- Evaluate and address strategic planning needs and gaps within business units to drive enhancements.
- Analyze data and prepare reports on industry trends, environmental factors, and strategic insights.
- Assess existing business models and perform scenario analyses to recommend improvements.
- Coordinate strategic planning sessions to define actionable goals for business lines.
- Design innovative business models, secure stakeholder approval, and contribute to strategic projects.
- Identify new revenue opportunities and cost-saving strategies to enhance the bank's profitability.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Banking, Finance, or a related field.
- Master’s degree in management or a related discipline is preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in the financial services or banking industry, with a focus on strategic planning.
- Proven expertise in strategic planning frameworks and methodologies within the banking sector.
- Experience working in a global environment.
