We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant with extensive UAE experience in accounting or auditing firms to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to monthly closing processes, forecasting and budgeting, and customer billing. Looking for a skilled Accountant to update and maintain the company's financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, expenses and payments. This position will include to create and analyze financial reports and ensure legal requirements and compliance are met, process accounts payable and receivable and manage invoices and tax payments and filings. The right candidate should be versed in GA Tax Law and be able to help the business make critical financial decisions by collecting, tracking, and correcting the company's finances.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with IFRS and local regulations.
Manage the month-end closing process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
Conduct audits and reviews of client financials, ensuring adherence to accounting standards.
Collaborate with clients to provide financial advice and identify opportunities for improvement.
Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations.
Supervise and mentor junior accountants, providing training and support as needed.
Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required.
Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
Analyze financial data and present insights to management for strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or ACCA qualification preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting or auditing firm, preferably in the UAE.
Strong knowledge of UAE accounting regulations, IFRS, and tax laws.
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Zoho Books, Sage, etc.) and MS Office Suite.
Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
