We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with strong leadership skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of IFRS, VAT, Corporate Tax, feasibility studies, payroll management, and transfer pricing. This role requires the ability to lead a team, manage complex accounting processes, and ensure full compliance with UAE regulations. You will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, advising on tax matters, and providing financial insights that support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the accounting team, overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring high performance.
- Manage the preparation and analysis of financial statements for clients with different business activities in accordance with IFRS.
- Ensure VAT and Corporate Tax compliance, including the preparation and submission of returns.
- Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local laws.
- Develop and implement transfer pricing policies and ensure compliance with UAE regulations.
- Provide financial analysis and support for decision-making, including budgeting, forecasting.
- Assist with the preparation of tax filings, audits, and ensure all regulatory requirements are met.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UAE tax regulations, IFRS standards, and industry best practices.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is required.
- Minimum 5-7 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, VAT, Corporate Tax, and transfer pricing regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in tax advisory and transfer pricing for multi-national organizations.
- Background in a consulting or professional services firm is a plus.
