We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Accountant to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate should possess a combination of attested certificates and qualifications in accounting, along with practical experience in auditing firms. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing financial transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee day-to-day accounting activities.
- Handle General Ledger (GL) entries and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
- Process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions in a timely manner.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Conduct regular audits to identify discrepancies and resolve them efficiently.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
- Stay updated with changes in accounting regulations and implement necessary adjustments.
- Assist in financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
- Provide support during audits and liaise with auditors as required.
- Maintain financial records and documentation accurately.
Qualifications
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Additional certifications such as CA, CMA, or CCA are preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting, preferably in auditing firms.
- Certifications: Attested certificates and qualifications in accounting.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data and identify trends or discrepancies.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial records and reports.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members and stakeholders effectively
