OVERALL PURPOSE:
Oversee and manage multiple projects within the NWC. Meanwhile, leading a team of project managers/senior project managers and ensuring the successful delivery of the program. The program manager provides strategic directions, manages resources, and drives the achievement of program objectives.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Managerial Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive management and supervision to a team of project managers and direct reports, fostering a collaborative work environment and supporting them in achieving their operational objectives.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to the area to track performance against NWC objectives and targets.
- Implement and enforce PMM processes and procedures, and align with the project's policy and project governance document, ensuring their effective implementation.
- Prioritize and allocate budgets and resources to support program execution.
- Actively manage talent management programs, maximizing employees' performance and facilitating their professional development.
Functional Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development of the construction management department's operational plans and ensure their effective cascading to individual project managers.
- Participate in the implementation and continuous improvement of the construction management departmental policies, procedures, and processes, aligning them with best practices and the strategic direction of the organization.
- Review the performance of third-party providers (e.g., consultants, contractors) in addition to NWC staff during the development of project master plans, ensuring deliverables align with the company's strategic priorities.
- Identify risks and legal deviations in contracts and agreements, taking appropriate actions and proactive measures to mitigate any potential issues/risks.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to develop and regularly update NWC's capital projects investment plan through joint work to break down the capital investment plan to the project level.
