Job Overview:
The Recruitment Officer will be responsible for managing recruitment, job postings, interview scheduling, employee resignations, clearance, and overall HR operations. This role demands a proactive and organized individual with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with regional managers, branch managers, and regional HR to identify staffing needs and create job descriptions.
- Source and screen candidates using various channels, including job boards, social media, and referrals.
- Conduct initial interviews and assessments.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews and manage the selection process.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and department heads.
- Ensure a seamless interview process by providing necessary information and support to both candidates and interviewers.
- Follow up with candidates regarding their interview status and next steps.
- Process employee resignations and conduct exit interviews to gather constructive feedback.
- Manage clearance procedures, including the return of company assets and the settlement of final payments.
- Ensure compliance with legal and company policies during the offboarding process.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
- Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
- Support payroll processing and benefits administration.
- Respond to employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR-related matters.
- Perform other assigned HR activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in HR operations, recruitment, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
