As a Mid-Level Game UI/UX Artist, you will play a crucial role in shaping the visual and interactive experience of our games. You will collaborate closely with Project Manager, Developers, and other artists to create intuitive, visually appealing, and user-friendly game interfaces.
Responsibilities:
UI Design:
- Create visually stunning and consistent UI elements, including menus, HUDs, icons, buttons, and other interactive 2D elements
- Design intuitive and efficient navigation systems to guide players through the game world
- Develop style guides and asset libraries to maintain visual consistency across the game
UX Design:
- Collaborate with game designers to understand user needs and create user-centered designs
- Conduct usability testing and gather player feedback to iterate on designs
- Optimize UI elements for various screen sizes and resolutions
Prototyping:
- Create interactive prototypes to test and refine UI/UX concepts
- Collaborate with programmers to implement UI designs in the game engine
Asset Creation:
- Design and create high-quality UI assets, including textures, fonts, and animations
- Optimize assets for performance and memory usage
Requirements
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience as a UI/UX artist in the game industry
- Strong proficiency in industry-standard design tools (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, etc.)
- Experience with game engines (Unity, Unreal Engine, etc.)
- A strong understanding of user interface design principles and best practices
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with other disciplines
- A passion for games and a keen eye for detail
- A strong portfolio demonstrating a range of UI/UX and 2D art skills
- Design Tools: Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, Figma prototyping Sketch, or equivalent. Game Engines: Strong understanding and experience with at least one game engine (Unity, Unreal Engine, or others). Animation: Proficiency in animation techniques (2D ) for creating dynamic UI elements
