Job Purpose:
To work closely with leadership to drive financial strategy and accountability across the district.
Key Result Areas:
- Develop, maintain, and analyze comprehensive financial models.
- Assist in the development and management of the school's annual budget.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and dashboards, focusing on revenue, expenditures, and net margin analyses. Support ad-hoc analysis requests related to specific programs, initiatives, or operational needs.
- Create and maintain long-range financial plans and models. Conduct scenario planning and sensitivity analyses.
- Conduct detailed analysis of district revenue streams, including local, state, and federal funding, grants, program fees, and other income sources. Develop and maintain revenue forecasting models to provide accurate projections and support financial planning efforts.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies within the district’s financial operations. Lead initiatives to streamline financial processes, reduce waste, and optimize resource allocation.
- Ensure financial operations adhere to district policies, regulatory requirements, and applicable financial standards. Support internal audit activities and collaborate on developing policies to mitigate financial risks.
- Serve as a liaison between finance and other departments, fostering collaboration on financial matters and enhancing transparency.
- Lead and participate in special projects, including financial assessments of new programs or initiatives. Develop financial models for the school development, this includes new offering services.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Finance, or related field (master’s preferred).
- 5 years of relevant full-time experience in financial analysis, preferably within education, government, or a large organization with complex budgetary and financial requirements.
- Experience in financial modeling, scenario planning, and long-range financial planning worked in corporate setup.
- Strong proficiency in financial ERP systems (experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, PowerSchool, and Oracle Fusion integration preferred).
- Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in data visualization tools.
- Knowledge of financial regulations, compliance standards, and best practices in a school or public sector environment.
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly and effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
- Excellent time management skills working with multiple projects.
- Familiarity with budgeting and financial management in K-12 educational institutions.
- CPA, CFA, or other relevant professional certification.
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft and edit a variety of written reports and communications and to articulate ideas clearly and concisely; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
