Job Summary:
Aakash Snacks is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Head to lead and drive the growth of our snack food business. The Business Head will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to achieve revenue targets, expand market share, and enhance brand presence. This role requires a strong leader with a proven track record in the FMCG industry, excellent business acumen, and a passion for delivering exceptional results.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a senior management role within the FMCG industry, preferably in the snack food sector.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets, growing market share, and managing P&L.
- Strong understanding of the FMCG market, distribution channels, and consumer behavior.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Knowledge of the Nepali market and business environment is essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the Nepali snack food market.
- Experience with international markets.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive business strategies to achieve company objectives, including revenue growth, profitability, and market share expansion.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats.
- Develop annual budgets and forecasts and manage the P&L for the business unit.
- Oversee product development, innovation, and launch strategies.
- Lead and manage the sales and distribution teams to achieve sales targets and expand market reach.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and other key partners.
- Implement effective sales strategies, including pricing, promotions, and trade marketing activities.
- Monitor sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and execute marketing and branding strategies to enhance brand awareness and build brand equity.
- Oversee marketing campaigns, including advertising, promotions, and public relations.
- Monitor brand performance and track key marketing metrics.
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure efficient production, supply chain management, and quality control.
- Optimize operational processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to team members.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Manage the budget for the business unit and ensure financial targets are met.
- Monitor financial performance and report on key metrics.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
