Responsibilities:
1.Conduct routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of automotive vehicles, including passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and heavy machinery.
2.Perform inspections and assessments to identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults or malfunctions in vehicles, utilizing diagnostic equipment and troubleshooting techniques.
3.Diagnose complex technical issues and develop effective solutions to restore vehicle functionality and performance in a timely manner.
4.Carry out scheduled service procedures according to manufacturer guidelines, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
5.Provide technical support and assistance to customers, addressing inquiries, explaining repair procedures, and offering recommendations for preventative maintenance.
6.Collaborate with other service team members, including technicians, advisors, and parts specialists, to ensure seamless workflow and efficient service delivery.
7.Document all service activities, including diagnoses, repairs, parts used, and labor hours, accurately and comprehensively in the service management system.
8.Keep abreast of latest automotive technologies, tools, and diagnostic equipment, attending training sessions and workshops as required to enhance technical knowledge and skills.
9.Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols, warranty guidelines, and customer service standards, at all times.
10.Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including tools, equipment, and service bays, to promote efficiency and safety.
Qualifications:
1.Bachelor's degree or diploma in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
2.Proven experience as a Service Engineer or Automotive Technician, preferably in a dealership or service center environment.
3.Strong technical knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and diagnostic procedures.
4.Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment, tools, and software for troubleshooting and repair purposes.
5.Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
6.Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
