A)Accountant duties and responsibilities
Accountants should perform a wide range of basic accounting tasks. Some of their day-to-day duties and responsibilities include:

Daily Recording of all financial transactions.

Verification & Reconciliation of Daily Cash Sales amount deposited into bank.

Tracking of daily Charge Bill reconciliation & receipt entry

Daily Reconciliation of sales transaction with Point of Sales System to ERP System.

Reconciliation of Aggregator Account, Online sales with Bank statement.
-
Issuing payment invoices and receipts to clients
-
Performing GL account reconciliations
-
Reviewing expenditures of the company such as petty cash expenses, Electricity & Water, Postage & Telephone, Vehicle fuel & R & M , Repair & maintenance Account etc.

Assisting with asset accounting such as Addition of Assets, retirement etc.,
-
Assisting with other accounting tasks, as assigned by a supervisor.

Accounting of various Purchase entry such as Assets Purchase, Expenses, Stock entry, Prepaid Account, Advance Paid/receipt accounting & tracking etc.

Liaising with External Auditors for Year-end Closing.

Qtly VAT Working & return file.
-
Various MIS reports such as financial reports for Management & Principal.

Monthly & Annual Closing of books of accounts.
B)Accountant skills and qualifications
A successful Accountant candidate will have various prerequisite skills and qualifications that typically include:
·Knowledge of financial accounting

Computer literacy and working knowledge of relevant accounting software packages such as MS Dynamics, SAP. & Tally and Sales POS system (NCR, Posit etc.)

Great attention to detail

Analytical skills
-
Ability to work well in a team.

Advanced MS Excel with various functions & formulas as VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, INDEX & MATCH, OFFSET, PIVOT TABLE, IF SUMIF, SUMPRODUCT MACRO etc.
C)Accountant experience requirement
A Accountant middle level professional, so having Four years + of experience is acceptable.
D)Accountant education and training requirements
A assistant accountant must have a university degree in accounting, finance, actuarial science or a related field.
