Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to ensure cost-effective purchasing of all materials and services required for the company's operations.
Identify reliable suppliers and negotiate contracts and prices.
Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activities to ensure a competitive advantage.
Collaborate with other departments to determine their procurement needs and requirements.
Manage the procurement team, providing guidance and support as needed.
Evaluate supplier performance and resolve any issues or disputes that may arise.
Ensure that all purchasing activities comply with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
Prepare and present regular reports on purchasing activities, including cost savings and supplier performance.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Purchase Manager or in a similar role, preferably in the building materials industry.
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and purchasing software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to purchasing and procurement.
