POSITION SUMMARY
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Housekeeping Manager to maintain and monitor a high level of cleanliness in guest rooms whilst working within the pre-established standards of operation.
The successful candidate’s main responsibilities will include:
- overseeing room attendants in their daily duties, ensuring all standards are followed at all times
- responding to special guest requests in a timely, professional and efficient manner;
- conducting daily pre-shift meetings and inspecting associates as they are working, giving guidance to ensure that deficiencies are corrected
- leading, training and supervising Room Attendants and other team members to ensure their performance is to the standards required
- inspecting rooms to ensure these are ready in time for guests arrival
Furthermore, the ideal candidates must possess the following qualifications, experience and skills:
- fluency in English;
- preferably one to two years previous housekeeping experience
- ability to work under pressure;
- a can-do attitude with a very good eye for detail
- able to work shift duties, including evenings and weekends
