Job Purpose
In this critical role, you will oversee all finance functions, including group reporting and consolidation, audit, tax, fixed assets, treasury, accounts receivables, and accounts payable. You will also lead the successful implementation of Oracle’s ERP software, ensuring alignment with our financial policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual standalone and consolidated financial statements and reports in accordance with IFRS and company policies.
- Analyse and interpret financial data, providing insights and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with tax, legal, and regulatory obligations, liaising with auditors and authorities.
- Lead the finance team in the implementation and customization of Oracle ERP software.
- Develop and implement system controls and policies for financial data security and accuracy.
- Coordinate with the IT team and external consultants on system issues, upgrades, and enhancements.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Chartered Accountant (CA/ACCA/CPA) qualification.
- 10+ years of experience in finance and accounting, preferably in mining, construction, or heavy industry.
- Experience in leading or managing the implementation of Oracle software.
- Proven ability to manage, train, and develop teams of more than 10 people.
- Experience working for companies with over 1,000 employees.
