Position Title: HR Business Partner (AGM - Level )
Location: Mumbai, Bangalore or Pune
About the Role
The Ideal candidate will report to the Talent Director India & HRBP. This person will act as an advisor who operates as key relationship manager to the Segment/Business Unit, lead the people strategy design, talent attraction and ensure alignment with business & group strategy. Shall play a key role in managing shortages / talent pipeline in the Blue + White collared hiring areas for the segment or region etc. Explore the most effective sourcing channels which in turn would ensure business growth through new contracts by means of effective partnering with internal stake holders and Client Management.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage the shortages/deployments for new / existing clients through various channels and develop and implement strategies focusing on attraction & supply of manpower as per the agreed timelines to avoid any financial impact on new/existing business.
- As a change catalyst drive employee engagement & develop effective partnership with employees, managers to infuse organizational & culture shift to ensure a positive working environment.
- Extend support to the Ops/ Regional HR teams with client interfacing for ongoing accounts for specific demands as appropriate. Liaise with clients during bids / RFP stage and represent Sodexo as a face of HR.
- Partner with business for appropriate people decisions and drive people plan outcomes for building organizational effectiveness and relevant org structures.
- Support business growth through effective partnership with BD team and collaborate with different cross functional regional teams during new/ existing bids.
- Educate stakeholders on HR trends and support business objectives through improvisation of Policies and processes that affect business.
- Manage risk, including oversight of the business in terms of adherence to governance procedures and regulatory compliance (people-related)
- Maximize use of HR delivery resource, and line up delivery across businesses and with other Divisions to maximize economies of scale.
- Oversee/support hiring and partner with TA team in hiring key roles based on business forecasts and onboarding / induction
- Achieve organizational results through effective partnership at different levels in the organization and leverage influential skills.
Key Requirements :
- Master’s Degree in HR (MBA/PGDBM HR)
- 10 - 13 years of total experience in HR Business Partnering role with experience of managing Blue/White collared hiring
- Candidates who have worked in Facility Management , Food Service Industry, Manufacturing & Logistics , E- Commerce industry are ideal and would have an edge .
- Strong knowledge of HR/IR/Labor laws/ Compliance & ability to apply the same to complex organizational issues is required with Expert level generalist skills supported by consulting and analytics.
- Understanding of Core HR Processes like Performance Management, Career Development, Compensation Revision, Employee Engagement and Retention, Reward & Recognition and Talent Management and Succession Planning.
- Awareness of Industry trends and standard methodologies
- Proficient in Excel & PowerPoint, written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills and knowledge of employment laws is must.
