1. To handle port equipments while carrying out duties in a safe and careful manner.
2. To transport cargo using Light Forklift trucks in a safe and careful manner within shed, yard and quayside.
3. To ensure Forklift truck are always in good condition and report any faults or damages immediately to the supervisor.
4. To pre-check equipment before operating thus always following Port safety procedures.
5. Prior to operating machinery ensure the respective area is clear of pedestrians or obstacles for safety purposes.
6. To ensure mechanical / electrical defects to the allotted machinery is rectified to avoid wastage in time and cost.
