As the Storekeeper at Shinta Mani Mustang, you will manage inventory, purchasing, and logistics, while also handling key administrative tasks such as liaising with banks and local government authorities. In this multifaceted role, you will ensure smooth operations by maintaining stock, coordinating with the central purchasing department, and handling the logistics of receiving and storing products. Your role also involves maintaining compliance with local regulations and representing the hotel in interactions with banks and local government.
You will be integral to the company's success by supporting both the operational and administrative aspects of the business, ensuring alignment with Shinta Mani’s ethos of sustainability, authenticity, and excellence.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory levels through efficient stock replenishment, coordinate with central purchasing for timely procurement, foster vendor relationships for high-quality products, and conduct regular stock audits to ensure accuracy.
- Oversee the receiving and proper storage of goods, coordinate transportation logistics for timely deliveries, and verify product quality to ensure compliance with hotel standards and sustainable sourcing practices.
- Handle bank transactions in coordination with the finance department, act as a liaison for local government compliance and permit acquisition, and maintain accurate documentation related to inventory, purchasing, logistics, and administrative tasks.
- Provide personalized guest assistance with product knowledge, collaborate with staff for seamless operations and customer service, and assist in training new team members in inventory management and logistics.
- Monitor purchasing and logistics costs to identify savings opportunities without compromising product quality, while ensuring optimal stock levels to support revenue growth.
- Regularly report on inventory, purchases, and vendor performance; ensure health and safety compliance; and perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in inventory management, purchasing, logistics, or a retail environment is preferred. Experience working with banks or local government institutions is advantageous.
- A diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is a plus.
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with local regulations and banking procedures.
