Project Manager will oversee and ensure the successful E2E execution of projects within the organization by providing standardized methodologies, governance, and support to cross-functional teams. This position will work closely with senior leadership, function heads, manufacturing plant leaders and project managers to ensure that all projects are aligned with organizational objectives, delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. Project Manager will be accountable for the development and continuous improvement of project management processes and systems, ensuring agility, consistency and operational excellence across the company’s project & innovation agenda portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire project portfolio, ensuring strategic alignment with business goals, prioritizing projects based on value, risk, and resource availability.
- Develop and enforce project management methodologies, processes, and templates across all projects.
- Implement a consistent framework for project tracking, reporting, and performance measurement. Establish and monitor PMO kind of governance, risk management, and quality assurance protocols. Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
- Assist cross-functional teams in the planning and scoping of new projects, including resource allocation, budgeting, and any risk assessment.
- Track the progress of ongoing projects, providing regular status updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Identify project risks or deviations and propose mitigation strategies.
- Act as the central point of escalation for all project-related issues, working to resolve conflicts and bottlenecks to ensure on-time delivery.
- Serve as the primary liaison between project teams, senior leadership, and other key stakeholders. Facilitate communication and ensure alignment on project goals, timelines, and outcomes.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports, financial reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to the executive team, highlighting successes, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Continuously evaluate and refine E2E project management processes to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and overall project success rates.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant certifications are highly preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in project management, multi-function initiative management or PMO roles, ideally within the FMCG, manufacturing, or retail industries.
- Project Management Expertise: Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools (e.g., MS Project), and best practices.
- Proven experience in portfolio management, project planning, and resource management. Leadership Skills: Ability to manage cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and drive project performance across multiple disciplines.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with senior leadership, teams, and external vendors.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to make data-driven decisions and identify risks early.
- Change Management: Understanding of change management processes and the ability to manage projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
