We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Project Manager to lead our portfolio of projects, focusing on enhancing our brand through visual identity, core renovation, innovation, new geographical expansions, productivities, and on-pack promos. Experience with the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process and proficiency in conducting Portfolio Management Review (PMR) meetings are crucial, ensuring strategic objectives are clearly aligned and executed. This role demands close collaboration with cross-functional teams, external creative agencies, and stakeholders. The Project Manager will develop and implement impactful visual identity systems, compelling artwork, and cohesive brand strategies. These initiatives will resonate with our customers and propel our company's success forward.
Responsibilities:
Brand Building and Visual Identity Management:
- Oversee the development and execution of projects aimed at enhancing the company’s visual identity and brand equity.
- This includes initiatives viz id, core renovation, innovation, new geo expansions, productivities, on pack promos.
Artwork and Design Project Leadership:
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality artwork and design projects within scope, time, and budget.
- Ensure creative projects align with the overall brand strategy and identity guidelines.
Portfolio Management Review (PMR) Leadership:
- Direct the Portfolio Management Review (PMR) process to assess the strategic alignment and performance of the portfolio initiatives.
- Facilitate decision-making during PMR meetings to optimize resource allocation and project timelines, enhancing overall portfolio efficiency and effectiveness.
Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead and inspire project teams to achieve milestones and objectives.
- Conduct weekly project meetings to review progress, address challenges, and adjust plans as needed.
- Challenge and motivate cross functional team members to identify opportunities for timeline reduction without compromising quality.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, marketing, sales, quality, supply planning and others.
- Ensure resource availability and allocation.
- Maintain strong communication with all stakeholders about project status, risks, and changes.
Quality and Risk Management
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with a significant portion dedicated to managing design, branding, or visual identity projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Candidates with experience in industries known for their strong emphasis on brand and design, such as FMCG, fashion, technology, or creative agencies, will be highly regarded.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in graphic design, visual communications, branding, or a related field. A degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management with a strong portfolio in brand and design projects is also acceptable.
- Professional certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) with a proven track record of managing design and branding projects.
- Additional certifications in design thinking, brand strategy, or creative leadership are highly desirable. Page 4 of 5 Technical Skills
- Expertise in graphic design software and tools, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design software, to oversee project execution and deliverables effectively.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello) to create and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and workflows.
- Strong skills in data analysis and performance metrics to evaluate project success, using business intelligence (BI) tools and platforms to make data-driven decisions.
