Overview:
Our client, a regional real estate developer, is expanding their finance team and seeking qualified professionals to fill multiple roles. We are looking for experienced individuals specializing in Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and General Ledger (GL) & Reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Senior Accountant:
- Oversee and manage accounts receivable or accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions.
- Prepare and present financial reports aligned with UAE regulations, including month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Conduct reconciliations of accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and relevant tax regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support overall business objectives and financial management.
Accountant:
- Assist in processing invoices and preparing payment requests, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Support the accounts receivable or accounts payable function by maintaining accurate records of transactions.
- Conduct periodic reconciliations and assist with cash flow management.
- Contribute to financial reporting and audit preparations.
- Aid in the implementation of process improvements within the finance department.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional qualifications such as CA, ACCA, or CPA are preferred.
- Experience:
- Senior Accountant: Minimum 4-6 years of relevant experience in AR, AP, or GL & Reporting, preferably within the real estate sector.
- Accountant: Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a similar role with exposure to AR or AP.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, with experience in UAE real estate being a significant advantage.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Candidates must be residing in the UAE.
