Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Group Financial Controller to oversee the financial operations of our manufacturing group in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial planning, reporting, and analysis across multiple entities, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and driving financial performance. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership abilities and deep expertise in financial management within the manufacturing sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the financial operations of the group, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of consolidated financial statements.
- Lead financial planning and analysis to support business growth and decision-making.
- Manage the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors.
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity management across the group.
- Provide strategic financial insights to the executive team to support long-term planning.
- Ensure tax compliance and manage the relationship with tax authorities.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to improve overall performance.
- Manage risk, including currency, credit, and market risks, to protect the company’s financial health.
- Drive improvements in financial processes and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a professional qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role in a group or multi-entity structure, ideally within the manufacturing sector.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations, accounting principles, and tax laws in the UAE.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
- Experience with financial consolidation and reporting systems.
