Overview
The candidate should have good analytical, leadership, English communication and writing skills. The ideal candidate will be proficient in the human resource performance deliverables to accomplish the Lender’s requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Senior Environment and Social Manager for the compliant human resource deliverables.
- Grievance handling to improve the management and workers relationship.
- Ensure the Subcontractors human resource undertakings comply with legal and Lenders requirements.
- Human resource risk assessment and mitigation.
- Periodically audit the Subcontractors HR system and take immediate corrective actions.
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company business strategy.
- Managing the recruitment and selection process.
- Nurture a positive working environment.
- Implement strict compliance to the code of conduct.
- Employee record keeping and human resource management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in management, law or related field from reputed institution.
- Proven working experience of minimum 5 years in similar works, capacity and organization. Candidate with the work experience in international organization and funding agencies is desired.
- Detail knowledge of Nepalese labor law, ILO and the IFC performance standards.
- Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics.
- Proactive with strong problem solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to convenience large number of workers to comply with the requirements of the Project.
- Ability to discuss and convenience the subcontractors.
Note
Duration: One year with possibility of extension till the end of the Project (Project Completion: 31st Dec. 2026)
Duty Station: Project Site, Rasuwa Nepal with travel as required by the work.
