About The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Communications Assistant to join the Comms, Strategy and Planning Team within the Office of the Vice President of External Engagement (VPEE).
The Communications Assistant’s main duties relate to supporting the delivery of staff and student communications at UCL. They include the production of staff and student e-mail newsletters and supporting with the production of content for other channels and activities, acting as the first point of contact for enquiries and query handling and various administrative, supervisory and editorial aspects to the role.
We particularly welcome applications from recent Graduates, (graduating within last 2 years) applications from Graduates from UCL would be particularly welcome. The post is a 9-month fixed-term contract from the first available start date.
About You
Experience of writing, editing and proofreading for a variety of online and printed materials, experience of using web analytics, social media metrics and qualitative feedback to enhance and develop communication plans and a demonstrable track record of supporting effective communications campaigns, especially in the digital or social sphere are all essential.
