We’re looking for an experienced, self-motivated senior communications officer to join our busy Communications office.
The post holder will be responsible for delivering a wide range of internal and external communications activities, including planning, development, delivery and evaluation of high quality communications plans and content that promote staff engagement and the work of the Trust, for both operational day-to-day activities and key projects.
They need be capable of writing for different audiences and platforms, show creativity and initiative in their work, have an appetite for learning and demonstrate excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied workload.

The post holder will be expected to act as a communications generalist working across a number of disciplines: internal communications and staff engagement; external communications and stakeholder engagement; social media, event management and media relations. They will be comfortable developing and maintaining effective working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including the Board and senior colleagues and key partners, such as commissioning leads, NHS and local authority system partners, organisations, government departments, the voluntary sector and service users and carers.
This role offers hybrid working from Trust sites and home. While the post holder will be expected to be largely based at the Trust’s HQ, there will be a requirement to travel to different Trusts sites across London and at Broadmoor Hospital to provide communications support to clinical and corporate teams across the organisation.
