Position Title: Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) Lead

Role Overview:
The EPMO Lead is responsible for establishing, managing, and continuously improving the Enterprise Project Management Office's governance framework. The role ensures alignment between organizational strategic objectives and project execution, focusing on standardization, performance monitoring, and the successful delivery of enterprise-wide projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement the EPMO's vision, mission, and strategy in alignment with the organization’s strategic goals.
- Define and maintain an enterprise-wide project portfolio governance structure to ensure alignment with business priorities.
- Drive decision-making processes related to project prioritization, resource allocation, and risk management.
Governance and Standardization:
- Establish project management standards, methodologies, templates, and tools to be used across the organization.
- Ensure compliance with governance frameworks, policies, and procedures for project initiation, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Develop performance metrics and reporting tools for consistent tracking of project and portfolio performance.
Portfolio Management:
- Oversee the management of the enterprise project portfolio, including tracking project progress, timelines, budgets, and risks.
- Facilitate regular portfolio review meetings and provide executive leadership with visibility into project statuses, key risks, and opportunities.
- Implement tools and systems for effective portfolio management and decision support.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as a liaison between executive leadership and project teams to align expectations, remove roadblocks, and ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
- Develop communication plans to keep all stakeholders informed of project and portfolio performance.
- Ensure change management practices are integrated into project planning and execution.
Risk and Issue Management:
- Identify, assess, and manage risks across the project portfolio to minimize impact on strategic objectives.
- Facilitate issue resolution and escalation processes for projects that encounter significant challenges.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
Experience:
- Minimum of 6–10 years of experience in project management, including at least 3–5 years in a leadership role within an EPMO or PMO environment.
- Proven track record of managing enterprise-level portfolios and implementing project governance frameworks.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, hybrid models).
- Proficiency in project management and portfolio management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Jira, or similar).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively engage with executive leadership
