Our opportunity
We are looking for a creative and highly organised Social Media Officer to help plan, schedule and manage best-in-class digital content for BAFTA’s social media channels specifically supporting our world-class Film, Games and Television Awards.
You will help the digital content team to grow audience reach and engagement across BAFTA’s social platforms (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Threads, X, TikTok and LinkedIn) in line with organisational priorities and agreed key performance indicators.
With a keen understanding of community management and how to build and grow online communities, you will also have in depth knowledge of social media metrics and how best to create and present social media reports and analytics.
As well as managing BAFTA’s evergreen organic social media content schedule, you will be responsible for managing the social media boosting strategy and act as the lead contact within the team for commercial and content partners.

Who you are
- A creative copywriter with a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of the social media landscape.
- Someone who has the ability to create, plan and evaluate the success of content across multiple platforms.
- Experienced in executing, optimising and reporting on paid social campaigns.
- Passionate about Film, Games and Television.
- Someone able to articulate social media and content strategies.
