We are seeking an experienced Processing Operations Manager to lead and optimize the processing functions for our client, a leading industrial recycling company in Saudi Arabia and the region.

Responsibilities:
- Strategic planning, resource allocation, process optimization, and team development to achieve operational excellence, reduce costs, and support business objectives.
- Prepare the annual plan and budget for the Operations function in support of the BU’s and objectives
- Facilitate the allocation of resources (capital, equipment, human resources) to deliver target operational results
- Cascade the Operations budget into actionable goals
- Direct the purchase and layout of the processing equipment
- Establish workflow and methods to maximize efficiency and quality of Processing operations
- Implement production planning and directs workforce utilization
- Coordinate closely with Commercial functions to align purchasing plans, production plans, and sales plans to optimize inventory and working capital
- Coordinate closely with Equipment Management for ensuring the smooth operation and minimal breakdown of productive machinery in all Processing facilities
- Monitor and drive performance of Processing facilities against defined objectives, including processing efficiency, productivity quality, and safety
- Drive continuous improvement in Processing facilities through implementation of LEAN principles
- Ensure the health and safety of all Processing personnel
- Ensure that Processing facilities remain in full compliance with regulatory requirements
- Prepare periodic reports to the management
- Identify and track KPIs for the processing activity, and devise plans and initiatives for improvement processing
- Develop and institutionalize data, know-how, and capabilities in scrap material
- Is responsible for the development, performance appraisal, and succession planning of all direct reports
- Ensure that the Processing function is adequately staffed and organized to meet current and future needs
- Develop and implement automation plans to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality.
- Develop strategies and action plans for integrating automation technologies into existing processes.
- Develop and implement cost reduction initiatives to optimize resource utilization, reduce cost, and improve operational efficiency.
The Profile:
- Bachelor's Degree in industrial engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
- Minimum 15 years of experience in Metal Recycling, Ferrous, Non Ferrous Processing, Scrap Handling, Manufacturing Management, Process Engineering in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record in process improvement, LEAN manufacturing, KAIZEN, and 5S implementation.
- Proven track record in process automation and cost reduction.
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Excellent team-building and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage cross-functional team members
- Technical competencies in manufacturing and supply chain
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fluency in English language is required, Arabic language is an advantage
