We are currently looking to recruit an Employee Relations Advisor who will play a pivotal role in supporting the organisation’s commitment to maintaining fair, consistent, and legally compliant workplace practices. By acting as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, this role ensures the resolution of employee relations (ER) issues, policy implementation, and proactive risk management. This position adds value by fostering a positive employee experience, reducing organisational risk, and ensuring compliance with employment law and internal policies. Working as part of a team and contributing with making a difference to the organisation.

Every day you will…
- Provide timely and accurate case management and advice to managers on ER cases, including disciplinaries, grievances, performance management, and absence cases.
- Support for Organisational Change by delivering expert advice and guidance during restructures, redundancies, and TUPE processes ensuring compliance with HR1 notifications and timelines.
- Deliver ER training sessions to managers in order to upskill and build confidence in handling ER issues effectively and providing solutions to mitigate risk impact.
- Advise on and implement policies, ensuring managers and employees understand their application, working closely with the wellbeing teams to ensure all employee wellbeing concerns are addressed promptly and proactively.
- Assist the team in managing Subject Access Requests within the required 30-day ICO timeframe whilst maintaining 100% compliance whilst also supporting on department data reporting and analysis.
- Coordinate and manage settlement agreements, ensuring consistency and legal compliance.

To thrive in this role, you must ideally have…
- CIPD Level 5 or higher qualification (or equivalent experience) demonstrating your passion and drive for professional development.
- Extensive experience in managing complex Employee Relations (ER) cases, including disciplinaries, grievances, and redundancies.
- In-depth knowledge of UK employment legislation, TUPE, and best practice guidelines.
- Proven track record in advising on organisational restructures, settlement agreements, and Subject Access Requests (SARs).
- Skilled in delivering ER training and coaching to line managers, enhancing their capabilities.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience in drafting legally compliant documentation
