We have an exciting opportunity for a Bid Writer to join our growing Business. In this role, you'll produce distinctive written content within our Healthcare Services business units.
As a Bid Writer, you'll support in winning opportunities that expand our market share for core and scaling services, and explore new market entries. You'll be responsible for producing high-quality, compelling, compliant, and persuasive bid documents that effectively communicate our value proposition and meet client requirements.
Xyla, part of Acacium Group, is an integrated healthcare solution that improves people’s lives and alleviates the demands of the UK healthcare system. Our services help people avoid hospital or accelerate them safely through it, with specialist support in their community or homes whenever needed. Working with over 80 NHS trusts, our clinical care team delivers a range of clinical services in hospitals, the community or virtually. Our services include diagnostic, acute and virtual services – all of which are designed and delivered by senior NHS consultants and operational staff who ensure that national clinical guidelines and operational best practice guidance are met.
Every day you will…
- Create content in line with bid processes and responses
- Hold storyboarding sessions and obtain relevant information from SMEs to develop winning content
- Objectively review written content to develop and enhance continuously
- Produce drafts for review and provide editorial oversight of written content
- Work towards improving and enhancing the standard and effectiveness of written responses
- Perform editorial reviews of written bid responses – proof-read and edit bid responses as needed to improve clarity, accuracy and readability
- Perform reviews of written bid responses to improve clarity and accuracy

To thrive in this role, you will ideally have…
- Experience in Bid, content, or editorial writing
- Experience producing written content for life sciences, health, and social care
- A degree or formal qualification in English or creative writing
