Overview: The Product Manager for the Visual Display (VD) Business plays a crucial role in driving the success of the organization’s visual display products. This position requires a blend of strategic thinking, market understanding, and technical knowledge. The Product Manager will be the voice of the customer and will guide the development and marketing strategies of visual display products. This includes analyzing market trends, defining product specifications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that product launches align with customer needs and company objectives. With a focus on innovation and user experience, the Product Manager will also be responsible for establishing performance metrics to assess product success and marketability.
Key Responsibilities
- [Product roadmap development] Manage the strategy for all VD product portfolio by considering market needs and competitiveness.
- [Product strategy development] Develop the product differentiation plan and positioning strategy based on company, competitor and market analysis and manage the definitions of the specifications.
- [New business area identification] Make decisions for developing new products, services and business by deriving insights from the customer and company's perspective.
- [Future technology and mid- to long-term strategy development] Manage the preparation of advanced technologies and investment direction based on the mid- to long-term commercialization concept and roadmap and drive securing of the business capability for the future.
- IN charge of new Product launch and GTM, achieving MP/SP, Order finalization with National Distributor's.
- Manage Pre-planning and rolling plan, GSCM operation coordination and business report preparations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelors Degree in Management or relevant field
- Proven experience in product management, preferably in the technology or visual display sectors.
- Strong understanding of market research techniques and methodologies.
- Actively provides insights and recommendations for the functional or business unit level strategic plans
- Anticipates future needs and develops innovative solutions that addresses longer-term needs of the function
- Passion for technology and a keen interest in emerging trends in visual displays.
