Job Description
Linkedin is looking for a Community Manager to engage and grow our creator base, helping them develop their voice and build their audience. This role is ideal for someone with a data-driven mindset, strong persuasive skills, and a deep understanding of the video creator landscape.
We need a candidate passionate about building communities, skilled in both written and verbal communication, and ready to thrive in a fast-paced, experimental environment. The ideal person will be excited about using data to inform decisions, while also being adept at communicating with internal and external stakeholders. The role requires a passion for innovation, relationship building and the ability to drive impactful strategies that resonate with a diverse audience.
Responsibilities:
- Execute community management programmes, with a focus on video creators aligned with LinkedIn India’s focus area
- Onboard, and nurture creators, driving their growth through targeted strategies in key segments.
- Analyse success using data-driven metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with editors to amplify best-in-class content across various channels.
- Serve as an evangelist for our creator ecosystem and LinkedIn’s content offerings.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience in community management, social media marketing or a related field which requires extensive relationship management
- Experience in working with creators, particularly in the video content space.
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication skills in English (additional Indian languages are a plus).
- High affinity for data analysis and the ability to translate insights into action.
- Experience in organisational and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Proven ability to convince and influence stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of the creator economy.
- Comfortable navigating different topics and norms of any geo/sector/topic.
- Comfortable with public speaking and presenting to various audience sizes.
- Prior experience in news, media, or social media marketing with a focus on video content.
- Passionate about LinkedIn’s mission and how it can empower individuals and organisations.
