Job Purpose
The job holder role is to support the implementation of press campaigns; carry out media monitoring; and respond to day-to-day press enquiries.
Responsibilities
- Organize and/or oversee the compilation of press kits, exhibition press previews.
- Track and report on the success of communications and press efforts and campaigns.
- Coordinate the media relations function for the unit improving the quantity and quality of coverage.
- Focus on the targeting of key audiences via the media through proactive activity and initiatives.
- Maintain and manage the press office.
- Facilitate the handling of media requests and tours at Zayed National Museum.
- Coordinate media monitoring and coverage clipping, reporting relevant items for all museum initiatives.
- Foster a network of media contacts across the region and internationally.
- Evaluate and asses all PR activity.
- Generate content for media events and activity e.g. speeches, press releases, FAQ etc as assigned.
- Feed into social media and online communications output.
Required Education / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject or equivalent e.g. communications, marketing.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in writing, editing, and production of newsletters, press releases, and marketing materials.
- Understanding of the ideation creation process.
- Knowledge of Communication Channels.
- Media Monitoring and Relations.
- Branding Principles and Practices.
- Fluency in Arabic & English.
