Kitchen Steward
Job Responsibilities:
- Dishwashing: Clean dishes, utensils, pots, and pans, ensuring they are sanitized and ready for use.
- Kitchen Cleaning: Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area, including cleaning floors, walls, and equipment.
- Stock Management: Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing kitchen supplies and ingredients.
- Waste Management: Dispose of garbage and waste properly and maintain a clean waste area.
- Assist Kitchen Staff: Support chefs and kitchen staff with food preparation and basic tasks when needed.
Job Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene and safety practices.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in kitchen or cleaning roles is a plus.
