Position Overview:
The Head of Finance will be responsible for managing the financial health of our organization, ensuring efficient financial planning, budgeting, and analysis. This role is crucial in driving the financial strategy and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, specifically within the healthcare industry, and a passion for improving healthcare services through financial efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, reporting and forecasting processes as part of the Senior Management Team.
- Analyze financial performance and provide strategic recommendations.
- Efficiently and effectively manage Revenue Cycles (RCM) and payer relationships.
- Develops tax strategies for the Company and its portfolio entities.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare financial regulations, policies, and standards.
- Manage accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Prepare accurate financial reports, statements, and audits for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment with financial goals.
- Monitor cash flow, capital expenditures, and funding to ensure financial stability.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends, changes in healthcare laws, and financial best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related degree required.
- A chartered accountancy qualification is mandatory (CA, ACCA, ICAEW, CPA, CFA).
- 10+ years of experience in financial management, with at least 5 years in the healthcare industry.
- In-depth knowledge of financial laws, regulations, and procedures specific to healthcare.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Oracle, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a proven ability to work cross-functionally.
