Position Overview
Position: Chief of Staff (Business Analyst)
Reporting to: Chief Executive Officer
Location: The Leela Corporate Office, Mumbai
Responsibilities:
He/she will be responsible for tackling the most challenging issues across functions, market segments, and units.
What impact will he/she will create?
1. Setting the strategic direction: Assisting in shaping the strategic direction for key parts of the overall portfolio to unlock long-term value creation. For example, portfolio roadmap, brand strategy, sales and revenue management strategies, business transformation roadmap, organizational design, etc.
2. Driving business impact: Collaborating with business teams from start to finish to translate strategy into tangible business impact.
3. Broad-based business exposure: Areas of work
- Across different objectives: growth vs. operational turnaround
- Across different functional topics: portfolio, programming for better asset utilization, marketing, sales, operations, finance, HR
- Across different markets
4. Consumer & Business insights: Analyzing business and consumer data, framing actionable insights, and leveraging them to strengthen business direction.
5. Senior Stakeholder partnering & influencing: Serving as a key business advisor and partner to senior leadership; influencing the leadership on a day-to-day basis to steer business direction.
6. Assisting the CEO in key business interfaces to convey the desired messaging and achieve significant outcomes.
Qualifications:
Education: Strong academic background with an MBA from a Top Tier B-School
Experience: 2-4 years of experience in working with leading hospitality consulting experience or hospitality experience.
Key Skills: Excellent analytical reasoning, critical thinking, spoken and written communication, Strong interpersonal, and project management skills, to work across cross-functional teams, Ability to work strategically and collaboratively across functions, businesses
